The Turks and Caicos Islands Government has announced its updated entry requirements and effective May 1st 2022, the protocol is as follows:
There’s no question the travel landscape has drastically changed since the COVID-19 pandemic began in early 2020. Indeed, there is a lot more to consider when planning a trip anywhere in the world—including our islands. Fortunately, it’s still possible to travel to Turks and Caicos and to do so with relative ease, as long as you’re prepared and equipped with the knowledge of the travel requirements to visit our beautiful-by-nature islands.

While there are many beautiful resorts in Turks and Caicos, you’ll inevitably come into contact with many people during your stay, including resort staff and fellow guests. And if you’re staying at a beachfront hotel, you’ll be sharing the beach (and pool) with more people than you would on a stretch of beach in front of a private villa. One of the biggest perks of booking a beachfront villa: there’s a good chance you’ll have the beach to yourself during your stay. And in the time of COVID, few things sound more appealing than breathing fresh air on one of the best beaches in the world without another soul in sight.
The privacy and seclusion that comes with a private villa can be appealing on its own, but it’s especially important for those traveling with family members or friends who are older or immunocompromised.
You can further limit your exposure to other people during your villa stay by hiring a private chef instead of eating out at restaurants, hiring a band or DJ instead of going out to see live music, and so on.
